- For the second time, we’ve had Abraham out to work on our computers, and we continue to be grateful for his great service and problem-solving ability. One of the issues he solved this week was the fact that my wife’s Palm Pre smart phone had lost most of its 400 contacts and Sprint and Palm could not help. Abraham downloaded the contacts from a defunct laptop for which we had no cord (he lifted them off the hard drive), transferred them to Excel, from there then to Gmail, and from there to the phone—a feat the tech at Palm had said was impossible. The first time he came out, our internet was down after the painters had moved all the furniture. The modem showed no input although everything was plugged in. He went methodically through possibilities, discovering that the Time Warner cable which ran under the rug had been punctured by a carpet tack. Throughout his work, he was willing to explain, and teach about what was going on when we asked questions. Chris and Nancy Kohrs - ATC came through in a crunch time and provided an exceptional value for a very reasonable cost. Abraham went above and beyond the call of duty showcasing his knowledge of the industry and integrity in how he handled things. We are lucky they are only a phone call away.
Todd L. San Diego, CA - I went to Abraham for a Quickbooks install, which he was able to install within 10 minutes. Afterwards I couldn't access my work program's database. So I called Abraham to get help. He told me to right come back so he could take a look at the problem. Even though the program was written by another company and he had limited knowledge of the software, Abraham was able to fix the problem within another 10 minutes. He even explained to my why Quickbooks affected my - Abraham has been keeping our home office up to date and running smoothly for many years. When something goes wrong, it means our livelihood comes to a screeching halt and everyone panics. Abraham is always calm and on his way over as soon as we hang up the phone! There has never been anything he couldn't handle. Honestly, we wouldn't be able to run our business without his knowledge and experience. The last installment was an automatic back-up ghost drive. We didn't even know it existed, but when we told him what we wanted, we had it right away. The peace of mind that comes from knowing we get quality work and materials with dependable and super friendly service is priceless. Even our office cat adores him. Thank you, Abraham! - You forget how dependent you are on your computer until you no longer have one that works. The DC power jack broke on my laptop when I needed it most. Abraham was far and away the most responsive and professional technician I encountered after making numerous calls to other services that were either hard to reach or more interested in price gouging. ATC provided great service, timely feedback and delivery when promised for a very reasonable rate. His willingness to listen to my concerns regarding the repair and work with me regarding his fees was the difference. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Abraham and ATC to any of my friends or business colleagues. Stephen Miller - My computer went down with a virus over the Christmas holiday weekend. I was desperately seeking a shop that was open on the weekend to help fix my computer. Not surprisingly most stores were closed for the weekend. For the stores that were open gave they me quotes but their estimates was out of my budget. When I spoke to Advanced Tech they explained to me what they will do and what could be the problem with my computer. Best of all Abe was willing to work with me and stay within my budget. He also kept in contact with me throughout the day with updates. I can’t express how happy I was with the professionalism I got. I am also happy that they were able to fix my computer the same day. Best, - When my home computer crashed, I was referred to Advanced Tech Computers by another Computer Tech that felt he could not help me. I needed special help with downloading my back-up files from a large company that saves files. The owner of ATC, Abraham Mares, provided extremely professional and polite service. The fee per hour was very reasonable and in line with most small computer service companies. He answered all of my calls, usually answered his cell phone immediately, and responded to all of my emails right away. Plus, he kept me up-to-date on the progress. Although we had originally thought it was going to be just a one hour easy job, it turned out to be longer because of working with another unfamiliar company with a different process. He could have given up, or been abrupt like most other techs would have been, but he told me that when he promises to do something, he keeps his promise. And he did! It was a lot of extra work and he didn't ask for more money, but I paid him double the original quote as it was only fair. It's very unusual - especially for a computer tech - to be so polite, persistent, patient, honest and professional. I highly recommend Advanced Tech Computers to everyone. Cynthia A.
